Innovations in medical technology – Challenges for research-, Health care

This project will analyse medical technology from an international comparative perspective in Germany and about three other European countries. It will assess which requirements derive for research policy from health care- and economic pol-icy objectives and strategies. »Good practice« examples for a coherent innovation policy will be identified and characterised. On this basis options for action will be developed with respect to procedures and instruments for innovation policy in medical technology in Germany.
