Future trends in tourism

Tourism is in a state of upheaval, distinguished not only by changes in the social and age structure of travellers but also by a change in leisure attitudes, structural economic change, technological innovation and – not least – a new awareness of security, including of terrorist attacks. The project contributes towards answering the question how the framework conditions for tourism and the structure of supply and demand within and from Germany might develop over the next decade.
