Nanotechnology and health

Nanomedicine offers promising possibilities to improve medical care in the future. This project aims at producing a 4 page fact sheet on nanotechnology and health. The fact sheet will briefly overview recent research discoveries, current treatment status and future expectations for the treatment of diseases using nanomedical tools. Three research areas as outlined in the European Technology Platform for Nanomedicine will be described: diagnostics and imaging techniques, targeted drug delivery and regenerative medicine. The primary target group is Swedish MP:s.
