Antibiotic resistence

The development and spread of antibiotic resistance is an emerging threat to human health. A seminar on antibiotic resistance will be arranged in the Swedish Riksdag focusing on why our antibacterial life-saving drugs are losing their effectiveness, how to slow down further spread of resistance genes and how to stimulate research and development of new antibiotics with novel mechanisms of action. This project also aims at producing a 4 page fact sheet on antibiotic resistance.
