Stakeholder Forums in The Human Brain Project

Engaging Stakeholders in the Human Brain Project (HBP)

HBP Stakeholder Forums provide an opportunity for HBP researchers and stakeholders outside HBP to have a constructive dialogue with regard to ideas, considerations and concerns related to controversial issues emerging from the HBP research.

The Stakeholder Forums combine online webinars and face-to-face seminars. On this site you can get information on coming events and get access to the webinars.

The webinars include 3-4 guest presentations, which will be followed by facilitated plenary discussions. We welcome all interested in the topics to join the webinars!

HBP Stakeholder Forums are organized by HBP SP12 and hosted by the Danish Board of Technology. Contact: kr@tekno.dk

Informed Consent in the HBP

Informed Consent (IC) is the process by which the health care provider discloses appropriate information to a competent human subject (patient or research participant) before they decide whether they accept a certain intervention.
The principle of IC raises several ethical, legal and practical questions. On this webinar we will open the discussion on how to disclose appropriate IC in the HBP.
